This semi-hollow body instrument features a captivating 3-ply body construction. A stunning AAA figured maple top sits on a poplar core, sandwiched by another maple layer. The neck, crafted from mahogany, boasts a comfortable, rounded "C" profile and is capped by a compound radius rosewood fingerboard. Twenty-two frets are divided by mother-of-pearl Super Split Block inlays, while a Graph Tech nut enhances sustain.
Gibson's forward-thinking design team equipped the ES Supreme with a pickup configuration that pushes the boundaries of the classic ES sound. A Burstbucker Rhythm Pro in the neck position and a Burstbucker Lead Pro in the bridge provide a versatile foundation. But that's not all - both pickups feature push-pull volume controls for coil-splitting, unlocking a wider palette of single-coil and humbucker tones. Separate tone controls and a three-way selector switch offer even more tonal sculpting ability.
Visually, the ES Supreme strikes with a deep Blueberry Burst finish. The AAA figured maple top boasts a captivating blend of rich blues that deepen towards the edges, accented by a subtle flame pattern in the AAA maple. Gold hardware, including Grover Locking Keystone tuners, an aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, and an aluminum StopBar tailpiece, add a touch of elegance and beautifully contrasts the finish.
